Australian Inland Botanic Gardens, Wentworth / Mildura ‘Bishop’s Lodge’, Hay  ‘Grossman House’ (NT), Maitland Harpers Mansion, BerrimaThis a National Trust property open to the public. The garden has a large range of Heritage Roses and we believe the original plan was done by Heather Cant of the Illawarra / Southern Highlands Group. Volunteers from Heritage Roses Southern Highlands still work to maintain this garden. MacArthur Park, Camden  Orange Botanic Gardens Rookwood Necropolis, Sydney  Rumsey Rose Garden, Parramatta Park, SydneyThis garden has a large range of Heritage Roses and was opened in 1995. Roy and Heather Rumsey, when they closed their nursery, donated 2 of every heritage rose in their stock to the Sydney Group of Heritage Roses with the proviso that a garden accessible to the public was found for the roses. This garden was designed by our member Judy Andrews and the original planting was done by the Sydney Group of Heritage Roses. Sydney Group Heritage Roses still have working bees at this garden. | Alister Clark Memorial Rose Garden, Bulla Marysville Memorial Garden Mornington Botanical Rose Garden Morwell Centenary Rose Garden Nieuwesteeg Heritage Rose Garden, Maddingley Park Victoria State Rose Garden  1997 saw the first Heritage border set up on the fence line between the garden and the Mansion and this was expanded in 2000. There are now 262 heritage species and cultivars in the Heritage Border with a further 75 heritage cultivars in the rest of the garden. This, we believe, is one of the best heritage collections in Australia. |
